February 18, 2019 – Class I Recall

Concord Foods is recalling select Concord Fresh Success Mild Salsa Mix due to the presence of an undeclared milk allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. To date no known illnesses have been associated with this product and no other types, varieties or different date codes have been affected. The affected product is listed below:

February 11, 2019 – Class I Recall

VICS Acquisition LLC of Harlingen, TX, has recalled 100,000 pounds of frozen chicken products because of undeclared egg, a known allergen that must be declared on food labels, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). Accordingly, out of an abundance of caution and to ensure consumer safety, we are recalling the products listed below.

  • 1.5-lb. packages containing one frozen steam bag meal of "SE Grocers MARSALA CHICKEN" with lot codes 14177 and 14532 and use by dates of Feb. 8, 2020 and March 3, 2020.

  • 1.5-lb. packages containing one frozen steam bag meal of "SE Grocers MEDITERRANEAN STYLE HERB CHICKEN" with lot codes 14145 and 14531 and use by dates of Feb. 7, 2020 and March 4, 2020.

February 5, 2019 – Class I Recall

Frito-Lay announced a limited voluntary recall of a very small number of 7 1/3 oz. bags of Stacy's Simply Naked Pita Chips because they may contain undeclared milk ingredients. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product contained inside the recalled pita chips bags.

The recalled products are 7 1/3 oz. bags of Stacy's Simply Naked Pita Chips that were distributed nationwide and have both a "Use By" date of 23 APR 2019 and a nine-character manufacturing code of "65M127902" listed below the "Use By" date. These numbers can be found on the front of the bag along the top right side. In addition, the recalled bags will also have a UPC code of "028400564632" listed on the bottom right side of the back of the bag.
