Upside-Down Honey, Almond & Peach Snack Cake Bars Recipe

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°; spray 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
Step 2
In medium bowl, whisk ¼ cup butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and honey; spread in bottom of prepared dish. Add peaches; sprinkle with almonds.
Step 3
In large bowl, whisk egg, milk and remaining ½ cup each butter and brown sugar. In medium bowl, whisk flours, baking powder and salt; whisk into egg mixture and pour over peaches.
Step 4
Bake cake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool in pan on wire rack 30 minutes. Run a knife around edge of cake to loosen; invert onto cutting board. Drizzle cake with any remaining liquid in dish; cut into 12 bars.Serve bars garnished with whipped cream and almonds, if desired.
